Children’s Day celebration is a day set aside to celebrate the most beautiful gift around the world.

To play a part in this year’s Children’s Day celebration, the Supportive Pillar Foundation team made a courtesy visit to the children at Emmanuel School of the deaf and dumb. And then thereafter proceeded to Ilaje Bariga community – a popular area in Lagos state.

Even as these children try to put their lives together we at SPF want to assure them of being loved which is why our primary aim of the outreach was to celebrate them by encouraging them to showcase their potential which gave them a sense of belonging.

The fun-filled day saw the children exhibit their prowess in various competitions it also featured mental care counselling, prizes, and food distributions as well as educational materials.

While SPF looks forward to another Children’s Day celebration it is relevant to note that Children are the future. Groom them right, so that they grow up to be able leaders and lead the world towards light.
