what you need to know about scarecrows

When you come across the word – Scarecrows, what runs through your mind? How do you also react to them? Are you always afraid of them?

Nelson Mandela once said and I quote:

May your choice reflect your hopes, not your fears. I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not the one who feels afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

Facts About Scarecrows

Scarecrows are typically made to look like humans, with features such as a head, arms, and legs. They may also be dressed in clothes to make them more realistic.

Scarecrows are often used in agriculture to keep birds and other animals away from crops. While scarecrows are intended to scare away animals, they may also scare humans, especially children.

In this article’s context, the word scarecrow can also be seen as FEAR MONGER with a definition of “something frightening but harmless“. This is one of the objects that Farmers in our local areas used to set as a human figure to frighten birds from crops. Fear is an illusion that does not exist. It is something we create through our anxiety about being less achieving.

Everyone on earth is created like farmland with many varieties for greatness, the greener the farmland is, the more Flourishing it becomes.

Scarecrows can’t be found in dry lands, they can only be found where there is potential ( I.e where there are fruits). The man who acts from the point of courage is the man who has studied the inexistence of fear. The reason why you are afraid is that there’s something in you finding a terrain for expression.

How To Avoid Scarecrow Torments

Humans all have things that represent scarecrows in their lives. Remember, Life is yours to take! Do it fearfully, at the end you will see that fear is just a push to your fulfilment.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Williamson writes in a book called A Return to Love. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

We sometimes ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.

These are all potential in us finding a place for manifestation, when we are all less fulfilling our dreams and aspirations, we tend to be prone to be fearful. How you’re able to manage it and turn it into a step toward your fulfilment determines your outcome.

Familiarize yourself with your fears by taking a closer look at each of them. This can help you see that your fears, worries and anxieties are just inanimate objects and not something to be afraid of.

Remember that scarecrows are not alive: Scarecrows are only made of straw, cloth, and other materials, and are not alive. If stigmatization is one of your fears, then deal with it.

Summary

On a simple note, a man or a woman who gives the wheel of his life to fear, won’t fulfil the purpose of his life. Such a person is just like a ship without a rudder, which has no destination to sail to. Turn your fear into courage and let it handle the wheel of your life.
