The loss of a spouse is one of the most challenging switches in a woman’s life.
In the developing world, today widows suffer several violations of their rights, in most cases, they are prevented from rightful inheritance including things brought or contributed during the course of the marriage.
While some are subjected to intense sexual violations and do not have access to justice.
The reality out there is that there are very few resources available for widows beyond conventional grief counseling.
Most widows don’t just lose their spouse, they lose their financial and social partner.
Through the supportive pillar foundation initiative for widows, we help them rebuild their lives with our monthly feeding and empowerment scheme.
